< class="pagetitle">Posts Tagged “Id Card Holders”

im looking to find cheap plastic, non rigid, kinda floppy, holders either vertical or horizontal to hold a small card, for a group of people that are travelling together, that you can wear around your neck; it can come with or without a neck band

please let me know of any shops or online sites, thanks

I saw them once at "Boots" but I don’t know if they are normally in stock there or if they just happened to have them at that time. Also, I don’t remember how much they were, but if I remember correctly they weren’t that expensive.

We live overseas on an Army base and have two children. Our family back home has begun asking what we want for Christmas. In the past, we always receive gift certificates to online stores. It is very difficult (sizes, fabric, quality) to order online unless there is something specific we know we want. We have looked into having family members purchase gift certificates to our PX/Commissary, but they are not allowed as it is only for ID card holders. The cost of mailing packages makes it hard to request certain items as well. I’ve also thought to request donations to charity in our name, but our family (especially for the kids) would rather send something. Is there a proper way to ask for cash instead?

Please don’t get me wrong, I am very thankful for what we have been given in the past and would be happy with nothing but a Christmas card….

Well, explain to them what you are explaining to us- that if they wish to give Christmas gifts, cash would be the most convenient (sp?).

I know this is not very important but i really need to know this for sure and the regulation if possible. Can a ID cardholder that works in the commissary purchase items for non ID card holders that work there also. Here at Hunter Army Airfield, the ID cardholders from ANYWHERE can bring ANYONE they choose to the commissary as long as the ID cardholder is with that individual, however as an employee i can NOT do the same for people that work there, even if we are off duty, BUT i can bring neighbors, family, friends…Whats the difference and PLEASE let me know where i can find the regulation on this…THANKS very much…Tony

Technically..no. Guests are NOT allowed to purchase items & must be signed it by a military ID holder. Any items purchased and given to non authorized users must be considered a gift..no money is allowed to change hands.

Does it happen anyway? yes. Depends on the commnad and whether or not they choose to be strict in enforcing the regulation and if they choose to prosecute those who disobey.
