for school ID’s thank you :)
Your school should have them in the merchandise store. If you want something different, like a college lanyard, go to maybe Sports Authority, they might have them there. If you have a college merchandise store nearby, definitely check there.

i have lg env touch and i see people who wear their phone on their neck by using a lanyard. im wondering how does this work? do you have to get a special lanyard for the phone or do u have to buy a phone case and then just buy a regular
lanyard and connect it that way?

The basic benefit is giving people a convenient place to keep small items from being lost or misplaced throughout the working day. The more important role is that <a href="http://www.giftscn.cn" title="lanyard">lanyard</a> can also act as effective advertising tools.

I’m talking about the neck lanyards, not cellphone lanyards. brands like: Juicy Couture, roxy, pink, ect.

I checked Hobby Lobby has the most, Joann next, A C Moore next and Michael’s 2 items,.

I got a rope burn on my neck. I had a lanyard on and I was swinging and the lanyard got caught around the chain and when I jumped off the swing it gave me a rope burn before it broke. Everyone keeps asking me how it happened and it’s getting annoying. It also hurts and I look stupid with a big red gash on my neck. How do I get rid of it? I have had it for 4 days. My dad told me to keep it dry so it will peel up. But now it’s itchy. What should I do?
Ummmm no. Why would I try to kill myself. I’m just really unlucky. And Ok I lied. I didn’t jump I kinda fell off. Ya…. I’m clumsy.

The story of how it happened doesn’t matter, and I honestly dont think it happened like that.

Sounds like a failed suicide attempt, and now you want to hide the proof.

But, to answer the question, rope burn is rope burn. It will heal on your neck, the exact same way it would heal anywhere else.

PS.. I really think you should talk to someone if I am right….

Does anyone know where I can buy a neck strap for my keys? I have checked Wal-Mart and Target and both have yet to have them.
I don’t know where else I could possibly go.
If you don’t know what it is, here is an example:
http://www.amazon.com/Camouflage-Neck-Strap-Lanyard-Ring/dp/B000CNOBX2
I don’t want a camouflage one, I want a different color or design, but I would like to put my keys on it.
I’m trying to not purchase anything online though, my parents won’t let me.

If you could tell me a store that you’ve seen sell them, that would be great. Any answers are greatly appreciated though!

The Dollar Store. I have a couple from there. and plus… it’s only $1 :)

I’m trying to buy an item on ebay and cannot figure out what name it may be listed under. At disney world, when people are trading pins and wearing the lanyards around their necks, there is usually a larger anchor pin at the bottom. I want to know what you call it because I cannot come up with any in my search.
I specifically mean the charms you buy to hang from that snap swival hook at the bottom of the lanyard. What are they referred to with disney? They aren’t a "pin", so what?

I believe it is called Medallions. Or medals. Something very similar
You’re talking about the ‘anchor’ at the bottom of the lanyards that people buy as an extra.
I have that.

I want a sailor knot lanyard. Just like those sailor knot bracelets except a lanyard that I can put around my neck.
the bracelets look like this:
http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yhst-90444223494391_2090_87766171

I want a long lanyrad tht looks just like that.
someone please help me find one.

Go to a craft store. I’m not sure what you’ve got in America (I’m in Australia and go to stores like spotlight or Lincraft)
But I think any craft/fabric store should sell it. Just look in the section which sells trimmings, lace, ribbon etc.
I’ve bought some white sailor knot string and used it on a handbag. I’m not sure you’ll find rainbow sailor knot but you will find something :)

Some netbooks are light enough to carry easily in one hand. A wrist lanyard would secure against accidental drops without a significant weight penalty. The security slot provides a structurally rigid attachment point.

Good idea but I have never seen one included with a kensington lock. Try Targus.

I’m planning on joining the air force after I finish college. I just curious if they give free stuff, because I need a lanyard neck strap. I figure the air force has some nice ones. Your probably thinking this is a dumb question, but i need to talk to one sooner or later. So I figure if I can get a lanyard now, why wait?

if the recruiter has some on hand, sure. just ask. but ask a few questions about joining as well, so you don’t look like a hobo. LOL

I can’t find anything on headphones that have one wire longer than the other so that they can go around the back of the neck.

Does anyone know what the headphones are called?

The ones that don’t go inside the ear with a funny rubber bit on the end, but ones that just sit inside the ear

Also, what UK website can i get them from?

Does anyone know……….this has had me looking on google and other company sites for hours trying to find the right ones

I know that they arn’t called lanyard headphones because i don’t want the ones that have rope/string around the neck, just wire

Thanks, if you can help

Ben

they are called zune head phones
these suckers have magnets at the end of them so that they stay together
easier to walk around with
i do that all the time too with them around my neck with zune headphones
they cost about 25$ at bestbuy or future shop wall mart would have them too

They have really nice ones at 5 below for like 3 bucks. All sorts of patterns and prints. Also, check out a dollar/value store.

Ok, so this is sort of a hard one to think of. I have some plain lanyards (maroon) that I am going to have to sell for a project. I was planning to customize letters onto them, but it was much too expensive for just a school project. So my next idea was to iron on letters to them, but unfortunately the material of the lanyards won’t take iron-ons. I now have no time to go to the store and need to get this done! I have a lot of craft type decorating stuff. Any ideas for a fast and easy way to decorate a lanyard (the kind that holds your keys..like the long string that you can keep around your neck) in any way that will look good?

Ya know, I actually have no ideas on this. Hummm. . . maybe paint stenciling? . . . it has to dry but quick and cheap.

right, so i am currently doing media studies at school in year 11, and for my practical production i am promoting a nightclub

The items that I will be creating are as follows:
A main poster to be put up around towns and cities.
Small flyers to be handed out by pr’s
Wallet cards with design on
Money off coupons
A V.I.P Neck lanyard
Tickets
A menu hand out

and a goodie bag to be handed out in towns and citites.
My goodie bag will include:
A flyer
A wallet card with details about a taxi firm.
A wallet card with details of a cheap hotel and money off.
A wallet card for a reverse charge call, or a free coupon, with a code on allowing the patron, to phone three numbers in case of an emergency.
Money off voucher for the night club.
A complimentary pack of mints
A complimentary sample bottle of a alcoholic drink of their choice out of – Malibu, Smirnoff vodka, Archers Peach Schnapps or Baileys Irish Cream, miniture this is, about 10cl
A safety pack containing two ibuprofen, contraception and a card allowing females to emergency contraception.
20% off voucher for a retail store of choice
A mini mirror

i am settin up a "nightclub" in the uk poeople.

and i cant decide if the safety pack is too much, it was sort of meant to be a novelty joke, but i thought id put it in there, because people dont really think about hangovers and contraception when they go clubbing, but do you think that is innapropriate putting it in?

id love to hear your idead, and see if there is anything else that i could put in?

thanks a lot

You did not mention the thing I received that is my favorite.

One club gave us this stickers that had tread on them for our cell phones. So they do not slide out of pockets, in the car, etc. It works great and the club logo is now plastered on my cell phone.

Be careful with giving away bottles of alcohol, it is illegal in the US, and I am betting other places as well.

i was asking the same to a friend watching with me earlier this season. apparently, according to him, they are a hoaky trend amongst ball players right now (you’ll notice a few people on other teams wearing them too). They have magnetized titanium in the threads and superstitious and confused ball players think that removes bad energy or some such thing. kind of like those metal, nondescript, silver colored bracelets that were magnetized and had the two balls on the unclosed end that executives liked to wear in the late 90s and early 00’s.

The title of this post is something I really want to do. I have a number of mental images of how to make badge lanyards with chainmaille design elements included. I have already used Byzantine chain in this bracelet: By the way, many of the pieces I make my daughter appreciates but wouldn’t wear. I’m ok with that but now and then she does find a piece or two she likes - that bracelet is one of them and she now has it. And two short pieces, using teensy tiny jump rings, just before the

well actually first you can pay attention to stuff she owns, the style of decor in her house, her clothes, and things like that to help you better know what shed like. Another way is to pay attention to her hobbies, that says a lot anout a person. like if she like sports you could get her a sports team one, or if she like dogs you could get one with dog prints, if she like kids you could get her a colorful one thats look like a kids coloring, and all that. Sorry I don’t know a site but that’s how i get good gifts for people I don’t know to well and it works for me.

I have to have 2 keys with me at all times & a couple cards (an ID badge, an electronic key card, etc etc). I’m trying to find a way to carry them all without losing them and not have to have a lanyard around my neck. Any ideas would be welcome. Thank you.

Scrubs have pockets. Put them in your pockets and pin the ID badge to your shirt.

Lanyards are becomming popular with more uses for accessories. these are usually a nylon weave or cotton material worn around the your wrist or neck to carry some type of item. These can be handy for your house or car keys they are mostly used by employiees fro thier identification cards. Lanyards were first made popular by the military as a way to connect weaponry, such as a pistol or sword, to a uniform, or as a way for soldiers to keep track of whistles or other items that could be easily

To be perfectly honest, it depends on WHO you’re selling it to.

To a girl, maybe about $350.

To a guy, probably less than $250.
