im thinking about buying the twisted hardware doctor bag from urban outfitters
http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?itemdescription=true&itemCount=60&startValue=1&selectedProductColor=&sortby=&id=15068141&parentid=W_ACC_BAGS&sortProperties=+subCategoryPosition,+product.marketingPriority,-product.startDate&navCount=30&navAction=poppushpush&color=&pushId=W_ACC_BAGS&popId=WOMENS_ACCESSORIES&prepushId=&selectedProductSize=

i want to know if i should buy it or not. is it worth the money? im wondering because i get 20 dollars allowance a week and its 68 dollars so if i do buy it i might have to wait another week or two. also should i buy it online. is it safe to? my parents don’t really trust using their card for online shopping but im not sure if they still have the bag in stock at the stores

I have ordered alot of stuff from Urban, and I have purchased a few bags from them and I use them alot and they are pretty durable. I would say wait until it goes on sale, because they all do. I buy bags from there and then a week later they go on sale for a really good price. Oh, and I always purchase things online from them and use a debit card and their website is pretty reliable.

the new ipad from apple…. does it have or work on microsoft office products?

No. But it can open MS office files using some apps, just like what iPhone / iPod Touch do.

You can find the latest information about iPad here:

ACORN’s Dubious Home Loan Racket is Most Shocking

By Michelle Malkin

There’s one thing more shocking than the illegal alien smuggling advice that an ACORN official in San Diego gave undercover journalists James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles. It’s the illegal alien home loan racket that ACORN has already been operating with the full knowledge of the U.S. government.

On Wednesday, O’Keefe and Giles published the fifth in a series of BigGovernment.com sting videos. ACORN official Juan Carlos Vera coached the pimp-and-prostitute-posing pair on how best to pull off a border-busting smuggling operation. It would be "better from Tijuana," he counseled on videotape. Vera then generously offered the investigative couple his Mexican "contacts" to bring 12 illegal alien girls into the country for prostitution.

GOP California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger now wants an investigation. But neither the Terminator nor any other California public official raised a peep when the very same San Diego ACORN office publicly announced a partnership with Citibank to secure home loans for illegal aliens.

In 2005, Citibank and ACORN Housing Corporation — which received tens of millions of tax dollars under the Bush administration alone — began recruiting Mexican illegal aliens for a lucrative program offering loans with below-market interest rates, down-payment assistance and no mortgage insurance requirements. Instead of the Social Security numbers required of law-abiding citizens, the program allows illegal alien applicants to supply loosely monitored tax identification numbers issued by the IRS.

The San Diego Union-Tribune reported that "undocumented residents" comprise a vast market representing a potential sum of "$44 billion in mortgages." Citibank enlarged its portfolio of subprime and other risky loans. ACORN enlarged its membership rolls. The program now operates in Miami; New York City; Jersey City, N.J.; Baltimore; Washington, D.C.; Chicago; Bridgeport, Conn.; and at all of ACORN Housing’s 12 California offices. San Diego ACORN officials advised illegal alien recruits that their bank partners would take applicants who had little or no credit, or even "nontraditional records of credit, such as utility payments and documentation of private loan payments."

The risk the banks bear is the price they pay to keep ACORN protesters and Hispanic lobbyists from the National Council of La Raza screaming about "predatory lending" off their backs. These professional grievance-mongers have turned the 1977 Community Reinvestment Act, which forced lenders to sacrifice underwriting standards for "diversity", into lucrative "business" opportunities. Or rather, politically correct blackmail.

As the Consumer Rights League noted in a 2008 report on the group’s successful shakedowns of financial institutions, "an agreement with Citibank, a significant ACORN donor and partner, showed that some activists become less active when deals are in place."

In the wake of the sting videos, ACORN officials are making a great show of clamoring for "reform." ACORN chief executive Bertha Lewis blamed the debacles across the country on the "indefensible action of a handful of our employees." But the corruption is systemic. ACORN has long thrown rank-and-file operatives under the bus to cover for its management’s indefensible conduct. And ACORN’s highly touted advisory watchdogs include inherently conflicted foxes guarding the henhouse:

ACORN advisory council member Henry Cisneros resigned from his post as Clinton HUD Secretary after lying to FBI agents about payments to a former mistress.

ACORN advisory council member Andy Stern is president of the SEIU, the Big Labor organization plagued by embezzlement scandals and inextricably linked to ACORN’s disgraced founder Wade Rathke.

And ACORN advisory council member Eric Eve of Citigroup is a champion of the ACORN/Citibank illegal alien loan program that openly undermines immigration laws and integrity in banking.

The truth is more sordid than any fictional scenarios caught on tape: ACORN is a corrupt enterprise.

They are aiding and abetting illegal aliens just as la raza, splc, these banks and obama are. And all should have our laws enforced on them for doing so. I find anyone who helps lawbreakers remain in this country repulsive and trying to ruin this country. Acorn and splc have both been linked to some unsavory doings. Both are corrupt and only after the money. You can add la raza, the hispanic KKK to the list also. I consider each of these hate groups against The United States of America!!!!

I’m trying to buy an item on ebay and cannot figure out what name it may be listed under. At disney world, when people are trading pins and wearing the lanyards around their necks, there is usually a larger anchor pin at the bottom. I want to know what you call it because I cannot come up with any in my search.
I specifically mean the charms you buy to hang from that snap swival hook at the bottom of the lanyard. What are they referred to with disney? They aren’t a "pin", so what?

I believe it is called Medallions. Or medals. Something very similar
You’re talking about the ‘anchor’ at the bottom of the lanyards that people buy as an extra.
I have that.

My friend tried it.. It ALMOST worked! Mainly because of Number 2, but the rest are funny xD

1. Walk into the classroom like a super spy. (keep your back on the walls as you walk, point your finger up like a gun, look around with shifty eyes, hum the mission impossible theme, etc.)

2. After everything your teacher says, ask why continuously.

3. If your teacher is yelling at a classmate, wait for them to finish their tantrum then ask” DOES SOMEBODY NEED A HUG?????” very loudly.

4. If your teacher starts blowing up at you for saying that, simply reply, “wow I can tell you’re a blast at parties”

5. Sit in a corner and wait for everyone to stare at you. When they do, grab your head and scream “ THE LIGHT! MAKE IT STOP! ARGH IT BURNS!!!!”

6. Flick pieces of paper around the class.

7. When your teacher tells you to stop, cross your arms and say, “Your racist against paper aren’t you.”

8. Don’t do your Homework.

9. When your teacher asks you why you didn’t do your homework say “I dropped it while beating up this guy for saying you’re the worst teacher ever.” then sit there and smile sweetly.

10. When you have a supply teacher, wait for them to write their name on the board. Then when they say hello my name it Mr./Mrs (insert name here), you stand up and say “PROVE IT!”

11. When your teacher asks why you were late say, “My goldfish died.” Then burst into tears.

12. When handing in your homework, write this paper will self-destruct in 5 seconds at the bottom.

13. When you leave the class bow and say, “May the force be with you, young one.”

14. When the teacher turns the light off, start singing opera as loud as you can. When they turn the light back on, look around pretending to be confused.

15. Whisper to the person next to you. When the teacher comes up behind you, scream “OMG GET AWAY! RAPE! RAPE! RAPE!!!!!!!!!!!!”

16. Walk into class dancing the Macarena

17. Tell your teacher you heard the other teachers talking about him/her in the staff room

18. Raise your hand and say "I totally agree" after everything your teacher says

19. Spend the whole lesson trying to lick your elbow

20. Speak in French.

21. Come late to class in a Spider-Man costume; say there was "a disturbance”

22. When they tell someone to turn around have everyone in class do it as well

23. "The homework’s due now? Oh, give me a minute then."

24. Hand in an essay where every word is mispelt.

25. Run in the room screaming, “THE WORLD IS GOING TO END!”

26. When the teacher asks you why you are late, say, “the queen is never late, everyone else is simply early”.

27. When a teacher asks you a question, say, “I’m sorry, the brain you tried to reach has been disconnected, please leave me alone or try again later, thank you.”

28. When the teacher turns on the overhead projector, scream “AAH MY EYES!!”

29. Tell yourself knock knock jokes, then laugh loads.

30. Hide under your desk and yell “THE SKY IS FALLING!”

31. When someone knocks on the door, shout “OH NO, THEY’RE COMING FOR ME!”

32. Bring in a year 7 and says he’s your new pet.

33. In your technology lesson, when the teacher asks you what you are making, say a nuclear bomb.

34. When your teacher asks you a question just stare at them.

35. Constantly talk to yourself in a low voice.

36. Purposely fall off your chair and make a big scene about it.

37. If you’re playing a really boring game, make a big deal if you win.

38. Glue all their scissors together.

39. Make paperclip jewellery. E.g. necklaces, earrings etc…

40. Pull out one strand of someone’s hair and yell “DNA!”

41. Wear a sticker or a badge that says ‘I am retarded’

42. Talk to a pen.

43. Put your hand up in a test and wait for your teacher to come over. When they whisper what’s wrong, yell “NO I WON’T SNOG YOU!”

44. Yell “LIAR!” to everything they say.

45. Smile. All the time.

46. Draw a tiny black spot on your arm. Make it bigger everyday. Look at it and say, “It’s spreading, IT’S SPREADING!”

47. When a supply teacher is taking the register, say everyone is missing. Then, if they ask who you are, say ‘Your worst Nightmare’

48. When you know the answer, bounce up and down a go " OOOHH I KNOW THIS"

49. When a teacher calls on you say, " I forgot"

50. If you have to blow your nose in class, blow your nose to the tune of your favourite song.

**ADDITIONALS**

51. When the teacher is not facing you, the whole class moves their desk forward towards the teacher

52. Hum throughout the lesson, but make sure you do not get caught!

53. When a teacher asks you a question… Reply "ERM, COMPUTER SAYS NOOO!!!"

54. When the teacher makes a statement, stand boldly and shout "I OBJECT"

55. REPEAT the last word the teacher says but say it much louder!

56. While the teachers back is turned, everyone swaps seats!

57. If you are sure you haven’t passed the test, write your phone number at the
57…write your phone number at the end with a heart!

58. When you hear a Police car siren from outside, run around screaming in the classroom shouting "Oh no, they’re here. Oh my god. Shit. Shit. Shit. What do I do? Miss/Sir you have to help me! Oh god. They must have found the body! HELP!"

59. When it’s your turn to answer a question… Shout "NEXT!"

NB: 32: To you Americans, A year 7 is a sophomore in contrast to a senior.. or whatever.. the youngest year in high school, basically.

Join the FB Group if you found this even remotely funny xD !
Have a nice day! N : )) x

These are funny. But some seem like a weird person would do. My favorites are #1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 14, 21, 23, 31, 32, 33, 46, 47, 56, and 58. I would totally do this if my mother wasn’t the type to beat your lights out (not really, but she would get mad!)

I live in America and I knew what you were saying with the whole "year 7" and "supply teacher is taking the register". And no one ever told me. Weird, is it not?

I want a sailor knot lanyard. Just like those sailor knot bracelets except a lanyard that I can put around my neck.
the bracelets look like this:
http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yhst-90444223494391_2090_87766171

I want a long lanyrad tht looks just like that.
someone please help me find one.

Go to a craft store. I’m not sure what you’ve got in America (I’m in Australia and go to stores like spotlight or Lincraft)
But I think any craft/fabric store should sell it. Just look in the section which sells trimmings, lace, ribbon etc.
I’ve bought some white sailor knot string and used it on a handbag. I’m not sure you’ll find rainbow sailor knot but you will find something :)

Recently I got PAN card for a minor person in family. The PAN card issued by the Income Tax Dept does not contain the photograph of the applicant, though a photograph was supplied along with the application. In the place for photograph, the words ‘minor’ has been printed.
Can anybody tell why a photograph could not be printed on a PAN Card? After all, it is an identification instrument also.

hi

Minor’s income gets clubbed with that of the parent (who is taxed in higher taxable slab, except -

where the minor child suffering from disability specified in section 80-U, referred to in para 5.3.9 except when such income arises to the child on account of any manual work done by him or on account of any activity which involves application of any skill, talent or specialised knowledge and experience.

The answers posted before also make lot of sense.

Good luck.

I do not have great credit and I am looking online for a personal loan, I have been emailed by tons of scammers asking me for up-front fees of $250 etc. to get the loan from them. I have tried everywhere and I have decided that I cannot obtain an UNSECURED personal loan. I applied on one website that looked legit, and I was called the next day by a company called century financial incorporated. Their website is www.century-financialinc.com. they have offered me a SECURE personal loan at a rate of 8.75 % from a 3rd party lender. Since I do not have the credit rating to get an UNSECURED personal loan (which means I recieve money with no collateral or co-signer). This company has outlined to me 3 different options to SECURE my personal loan. 1. co-signer. must have a cosigner with perfect credit. I said no thanks. 2. monetary collateral….which they have outlined the payments of $235/month which will be taken out of direct deposit, they have asked for a lump sum of my first 4 monthly payments, which turns out to be $940. Option 3. is Insurance coverage I would have to purchase from them $1800, to secure the loan, after 5 consecutive months of on-time payments, the $1800 would be refunded.

I am seriously considering option #2, sending them $940 they said I would send it securly through western union, and within 3-4 hours, the loan would be deposited into my account, or I could have a certified cheque delivered to my house via fedex. I just have worries that after I send them $940, nothing will happen. I have talked to this man adam wilcox on the phone, he sounds like a very nice, understanding, knowledgable financial advisor, I do trust him I expressed my concerns with him and he assures me that this whole process is legitimate. can somebody visit thier website for me, the website states an actual address under contact information which is always a good sign, let me know how the website looks to you, below is the first page of the loan contract they sent me. I am on the fence about this one, but I really need a loan, but I do not want to be scammed. please advise on your opinions, or if anybody has experience dealing with this company? or a loan process like this, does this sound like the general way things need to be done? please give your opinions…
thank you very much

The Insurance Coverage protects the lender in the event you refuse to pay back the negotiated terms due to the fact that you the client have become unemployed,

I would be leery for the reasons noted below.

Strike 1- I checked the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) and I didn’t find any companies listed with the address buried in the website you mentioned.

Strike 2- I did a generic Yahoo search as well as searching Yahoo Yellow Pages and again didn’t find any companies in Boston with that address.

Strike 3- The listed address is that of the hotel "Hilton Boston Financial District".

Strike 4- I did a search on the domain name (www.whois.com) and came up with the following. Note that the domain name was created less than one month ago!

You don’t need a title for a resume since everyone knows what a resume is. However, as a critioque, your work experience doesn’t stand out - you list duties, not responsibilities. For example, when you say "plot graveyards" - how did you plot them, what was your role - did you oversee a team of people plotting them, did you work alone (self-management), did you use a GIS/GPS system to do this, how much of the planning of the project was left to you. Similarly, for the customer service part, did you have th authority to decide on solutions to customer problems without necessarily getting a supervisor’s approval. I would cut down a bit on the education (give the real basics…degree, maybe GPA, school and time in school) and beef up the experience part (especially with things for which you could take initiative…back up that claim to ability to operate in a fast changing environment). I bet you have a lot of skills you are hiding in there.

Some netbooks are light enough to carry easily in one hand. A wrist lanyard would secure against accidental drops without a significant weight penalty. The security slot provides a structurally rigid attachment point.

Good idea but I have never seen one included with a kensington lock. Try Targus.

I have a fairly large fish tank from my brother who used it previously, along with most of the supplies, so i thought id get some cool looking fish in my room(preferable green and pink). although, i don’t know what good looking fish are out there, and which ones go together safely. i need to find out which ones go together safely and which ones are fairly cheap. i live by a petsmart if that means anything.thanks!

You say "fairly large," which is a subjective measurement. I would measure your tank and consult this chart:

http://alysta.com/books/fishtank.htm

before deciding on a final stocking.

For now, the only readily available fish I can think of off the top of my head is GloFish. They’re an active, interesting fish, that have been genetically modified to be green, pink, and orange.

http://www.glofish.com/

Technically they would be "starfire red" and "electric green" but close enough, I think.

They are, however, unavailable in California and in countries where genetically modified fish are illegal.

(By the way, "fruit tetra" are generally white skirted tetras that have been dyed that color, a painful injection process that temporarily changes the color of the fish. I would not buy fruit tetra.)

SCAM, to not touch this. You will send the $940 and then there will be a few other issues that come up where they will need a little more money from you. Then after a few days they will have another "fee" you need to pay. If you look carefully they are not giving you the loan "we have obtained a lender to process and approve your loan request" Once they have your $940.00 and the $1,800 this lender will disappear. And you will need to pay a bit more for another lender, all said and done good luck getting your funds back

I want to make a few buttons as decorations (the kind that are round with a pin on the back). i want a really inexpensive kit or something, im not going to pay $50 for a kit… any ideas? plus, can i buy the pin things (the round parts) separately too?

I know for sure Michael’s and Hobby Lobby have the badges with the pins on the back. The back pops off so you can add your own picture or whatever. Look for them in the kid’s craft aisle…where they also sell group kid projects. You can sometimes buy them in a bag, in bulk. I would also check at Walmart, in a similar aisle, though some Walmarts are cutting back on craft supplies. Darice (darice.com) may also have them.
Good Luck!
–Erik

I am going to buy a new laptop in the near future. I want it for school (so internet and office) and for gaming - one game in particular, WOW. I have already picked out the computer I want from Dell and the only problem is the video card that comes with it. It is "Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD". I don’t know jack about inner workings of computers or anything so I’m really confused on whether this will suffice or not. I could not find this card listed on the WOW webpage for supported video cards. The page lists supported and not supported cards and this was not on any list. However, from the user reviews on the computer I gathered that this card was not good for gaming. Now I plan to just buy a video card separate but I don’t know anything about them! I don’t know which one to pick or how to find out if it will work with the computer or anything. Help me! And I almost forgot, I would like to spend $100-$300 on the card.

PS WOW recommends ATI Radeon 7200 or VNIDIA GeForce 7600 GT class card or better. And I would prefer to order the video card from the dell website at the same time I order my computer. Here is a link to the dell website for video cards http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/category.aspx?c=us&category_id=7322&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&~ck=anav

Oh and in case this helps this is the computer I chose http://www.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/studio-1747?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19

Hi, you cannot buy graphics cards for laptops as they are not available for them, only computers.

To upgrade it, ring dell support and tell them, when you buy your laptop, to upgrade your laptops graphics card to a better one and they should give you it with a different graphics card.

Tell them its for gaming and you want it to be HD.

It will cost (obviously) for the graphics card but im not sure if they charge you for the upgrade.

Good luck…

BTW, that’s a really good laptop.
